Information included in a marketplace listing may be visible to other Coinage users.

c. Photos and Images: If you choose to upload photos for a listing, profile, message, or other feature, we may access the photos you select from your device and store those photos through our servers or cloud service providers.

d. Location Information: With your permission, Coinage may collect precise or approximate location information to provide location-based features, such as showing nearby listings or determining the general location of an item. You can control location access through your device settings.

e. Messages and Communications: When you communicate with another user through Coinage, we may collect and store message content, sender and recipient information, timestamps, images, and other information associated with the conversation.

f. Transaction Information: When you participate in a transaction through Coinage, we may collect information such as buyer and seller identifiers, the item involved, transaction amount, transaction status, invoice information, payment status, Bitcoin transaction information, Lightning payment information, and transaction timestamps.

g. Wallet and Payment Information: If you provide a Bitcoin address, Lightning Address, invoice, or similar payment information, we may process that information to provide payment-related features. Coinage will never ask you to provide your Bitcoin wallet seed phrase or private key.

h. Device and Usage Information: We and our service providers may automatically collect information such as your device type, operating system, App version, device or installation identifiers, IP address, network information, crash information, diagnostic information, and dates and times of access.

i. Push Notification Information: If you enable notifications, we may collect and store a device push-notification token so we can send notifications related to messages, transactions, marketplace activity, account information, or other Coinage features.

j. Customer Support Information: If you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, account information, the contents of your request, screenshots or attachments you provide, and other information necessary to respond to your request.

Use of Information:

a. Account Management: We use your information to create, authenticate, maintain, and manage your Coinage account.

b. Marketplace Services: We use information to display listings, provide nearby marketplace results, allow buyers and sellers to communicate, and provide other marketplace functionality.

c. Transactions: We use transaction and payment information to facilitate transactions, create and track payment requests or invoices, and provide Bitcoin-related transaction functionality.

d. Communications: We may use your information to send message notifications, transaction updates, account notices, security information, and other communications related to Coinage.

e. Safety and Security: We may use information to detect and prevent fraud, investigate reports or disputes, remove prohibited or abusive content, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect Coinage and its users.

f. App Improvement: We may use device, usage, diagnostic, and other information to operate, debug, maintain, and improve the App.

g. Legal Compliance: We may use information to comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights.

Sharing of Information:

a. Other Users: Certain information may be shared with other Coinage users as necessary to operate the marketplace. For example, listings are displayed to potential buyers, messages are shared with their recipients, and transaction-related status information may be visible to the users involved in a transaction.

b. Service Providers: We may share information with third-party service providers that help us operate Coinage. These providers may assist with authentication, database hosting, image storage, cloud hosting, push notifications, payment processing, Bitcoin infrastructure, diagnostics, security, and other App functionality.

c. Third-Party Technologies: Coinage may use services provided by companies such as Google Firebase, Apple, cloud infrastructure providers, and Bitcoin or Lightning payment infrastructure providers. These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services.

d. Legal Compliance: We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, legal process, or a lawful government request, or to investigate fraud, protect users, protect our rights or property, or enforce our agreements.

e. Business Transfers: If Coinage Marketplace LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

f. Aggregated Information: We may use or share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you to understand how Coinage is used and improve the App.

Coinage does not sell your personal information for money.

Information Visible to Other Users:

Because Coinage is a marketplace, certain information is intended to be visible to other users. Depending on how you use the App, other users may see your display name, profile photo, public profile information, marketplace listings, listing photos, item descriptions, general listing location, messages you send to them, and transaction-related status information.

You should avoid including sensitive personal information in listings, profile information, photos, or messages.

Bitcoin and Blockchain Privacy:

Bitcoin operates on a public blockchain. Bitcoin transactions may reveal information such as Bitcoin addresses, transaction identifiers, transaction amounts, timestamps, and relationships between transactions.

Information recorded on the Bitcoin blockchain may be publicly accessible and generally cannot be modified or deleted by Coinage.

Lightning Network payments may have different privacy characteristics, but transaction information may still be processed by wallet providers, Lightning nodes, routing infrastructure, or other payment providers.

Data Retention:

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, maintain accounts, complete and document transactions, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, and enforce our agreements.

Different types of information may be retained for different periods.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete or anonymize it in accordance with applicable law.

Information stored on a public blockchain is outside Coinage's control and generally cannot be deleted.

Account and Data Deletion:

You may request deletion of your Coinage account and associated personal information.

Where account deletion is available within the App, you may use that functionality to submit a deletion request. You may also contact us at [jacob@coinagemarketplace.com](mailto:jacob@coinagemarketplace.com).

When we receive a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize information associated with your account unless retention is reasonably necessary or required for purposes such as fraud prevention, security, transaction records, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or establishing or defending legal claims.

Deleting your Coinage account cannot remove information independently maintained by another user, a third-party service, or a public blockchain.

Your Choices:

a. Account Information: You may update certain account information through the App where those controls are available.

b. Location: You can enable, limit, or disable Coinage's access to location information through your device settings.

c. Photos: You can control Coinage's access to your photos through your device settings.

d. Notifications: You can enable or disable push notifications through your device settings.

e. Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your account as described in this Privacy Policy.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information under applicable privacy laws.

Data Security:

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Coinage account credentials and your personal cryptocurrency wallets.

Third-Party Services:

Coinage may contain links to or integrate with third-party websites, wallets, payment providers, or other services.

This Privacy Policy does not govern information collected independently by those third parties. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own privacy policies and terms.

Children's Privacy:

Coinage is intended for users who are at least 18 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to Coinage, please contact us at [jacob@coinagemarketplace.com](mailto:jacob@coinagemarketplace.com).

Changes to this Privacy Policy:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Coinage develops or our privacy practices change.

When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the App, our website, email, or another appropriate method.

The effective date at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when it was most recently updated.
